Sunny Hill Farm features two exceptional trainers, Joy Parker and Terri Hicklin. Our trainers provide high quality training and instruction to meet the individual needs of the horse and rider. Both of their programs include daily turnout, supplement feeding, blanketing, and coordination of veterinary and shoeing services. Sunny Hill Farm also offers boarding with the option of a daily turnout program.

Joy's training program emphasizes good horsemanship and basic fundamentals of riding as a foundation for any discipline. Her passion for horses and compassion for people give her a unique ability to help riders get the most out of their horses at home and at shows throughout Northern California. Beginner Riding Lessons/Turnout Program
Terri opened Black Dog Farm to provide beginner riding instruction on quality lesson horses. She believes that good riding comes from a good foundation and a true enjoyment for the horses and the sport. Each rider is expected to learn basic horsemanship and general horse care as well as have fun!
Terri specializes in beginner hunt seat riding lessons for students ages 6 and older. Half training, beginner lessons, and a turnout program are all available.
